* Business Service And Supply Service Establishments - Any
establishment containing no more than 5000 square feet of net floor area
wherein the primary occupation is the provision of services or supplies
principally to the business, commercial, industrial or institutional
community, but not including retail sales to the general public except

include establishments such as catering and printing establishments

drying and ironing facilities for the use of retail customers.<br />
d) Cleaning pickup stations, which are establishments where there is no
on-site cleaning of garments, articles or goods of fabric and the use
consists of drop off and pickup by customers of such articles that are
sent to another location for cleaning.<br />
e) Pet grooming establishments.<br />
f) Tailors, dressmaking shops, shoe cleaning or repair shops, and other similar places of business.<br />
* Prescription Establishments And The Selling Of Pharmaceutical Supplies<br />
* Repair Service Establishments - <i>Any establishment wherein the
primary occupation is the repair and general service of common home
appliances such as musical instruments, sewing machines, televisions and
radios, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, power tools, electric
razors, refrigerators and lawnmowers not exceeding five (5) horsepower;
or any establishment wherein the primary occupation is interior
decorating services which include reupholstering and/or the making of
draperies, slipcovers and other similar articles.</i><br />

<b>BRAC and Fort Belvoir:</b><br />
<br />
The 2005 Base Realignment and Closure legislation was
signed into law on Nov. 9, 2005. Under BRAC law, Fort
Belvoir will have a net gain of approximately 19,300 military
and civilian employees - the largest net gain of any DoD
installation.<br />
BRAC 2005 will nearly double the size of Fort Belvoir's
workforce to a total population of 43,000 by September 15,
2011 - the federally mandated date by which BRAC must be
completed.<br />
The cost of construction for new facilities, renovated facilities,
and infrastructure projects related to the implementation
of BRAC at Fort Belvoir is forecasted to cost more than $4
billion.<br />
With all of the BRAC projects now fully under construction,
the future appearance of Fort Belvoir is beginning to
take shape. The post will expand to include a total of three
non-contiguous sites or substations in the region. Non-contiguous Fort Belvoir property includes Rivanna Station in
Charlottesville, Va, the Fort Belvoir North Area in
Springfield, Va., and a portion of the Mark Center in
Alexandria, Va., that are now home to three BRAC realigned
organizations at Fort Belvoir. They are the Defense
Intelligence Agency's Joint-Use Intelligence Analysis Facility,
the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's New Campus
East, and the multiple Defense Department agencies formerly
in leased space in the National Capital Region, respectively.
To support the increased workforce and mission requirements,
the installation will invest $157 million into roads,
utilities, communications and base support facilities while
renovating existing space, building new buildings for incoming
tenants, reconfiguring the installation, and implementing
increased traffic demand management practices to mitigate
traffic concerns. During 2010-2011, Gunston, Belvoir, and
Pohick Roads will be expanded to four lanes to accommodate
Belvoir's growth.<br />
